Illustration Friday: Journey

I am still wrapping up last week’s “bottled” entry and will have an update on that later today. However, in the meantime I have been thinking about what I wanted to submit for this week’s topic of “Journey”.

A couple of years ago I had created a series of illustrations for an art show at a local library museum. I have been wanting an excuse to revisit one of those illustrations for some time now. I was really happy with the character in the piece, but was never fully satisfied with the background, the composition or the concept behind it.

Here she is… driving off on an adventure of some sort. I would love your input as to where her journey should take her!!! I will work on it this week and post an update soon!

hey Andi! Nice work! Love the treads and your character design. She looks like she is headed of to a picnic near a beach.

Maybe it’s for the best the background didn’t work out? Now we can imagine her wherever we’d like her to be. Nice job!
